If you are already in Australia, there are various other ways for Travelling to Sydney without taking a flight, though nearly every airport in the country has domestic flights to the city. There is a good train service that connects cities in New South Wales, and Sydney can be reached using a train from Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne.

Bus and car are some other ways to get to Sydney, though these can be a little more uncomfortable. Travelling to Sydney in a car is a lot more private, though it is not a good idea to drive to Sydney from a distant city. Using a car or a bus is ideal when travelling from nearby towns or from Canberra.
