Sydney UniversitySydney University is one of Australia’s most prestigious universities, and is the oldest one in the country. It is located in Sydney, New South Wales, around two miles south of the Sydney Opera House. The university offers many degrees and courses in many fields.

The original university was established in around 1850, and has since been expanded. It is now a very large university, known for its strong arguments in the past on Feminism and also on Marxism, and though it has had some years in the past where its activities were controversial, it is now one of the world’s best universities.

Today there are sixteen faculties and schools within Sydney University. These faculties include the Faculty of Music, the Faculty of Pharmacy, of Dentistry, Architecture, Design and Planning and also the Faculty of Fine Arts, among others. There are two schools within the university; a Law School and a Medical School.

Sydney University is very large, and the university campus is located in Camperdown and Darlington, which are two areas of Sydney, close to Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. It is well located, close to famous sights, lively nightlife and also close to the city’s beaches, making life away from studies fun and relaxed.

The university also has some galleries, a library and various student organisations. The galleries and museums of the university include the University Art Collection and an antiquities museum. The most popular of the student organisations are the sport and fitness organisation and the Student Representatives Council.
